Target Awards RUSD $100,000 for Kindergarten Technology for Reading

RUSD is proud to announce the receipt of a $100,000 grant that focuses on improving reading at the kindergarten level at Bryant and Pachappa Elementary schools.  Seven kindergarten classrooms will receive five iPads for small group in class instruction as well as each student will be provided with  an iPod touch to take home. In addition parents will be provided with training and support in the use of technology to support reading skills.  Parent orientations will conclude this week and implementation will begin in the next few weeks.  RUSD would like to thank Target for its ongoing support and look forward to great success with our Kindergarten students at Bryant and Pachappa!
