SmartRiverside Update

Just wanted to give you an update on what we have accomplished this year through our partnership with SmartRiverside. Over 179 families have completed the trainings provided by RUSD staff members at RUSD computer labs. Each family completed 8 hours of training and at the end of that training received a refurbished computer with internet access. In addition to the 179 families that completed our regular monthly training, another 100 received computers through the same type of program that was hosted on a one time only basis at Longfellow, Ramona and Emerson. SmartRivierside is also providing tech support and free wifi access for all of the families (360) that are participating in our Home2School pilot at Central Middle School.
